This week has been pretty gross. Both girls are sick and snot is everywhere and Kaia doesn't seem to understand that you blow your nose IN a tissue - not ON one's sleeve. I am grateful that she uses her sleeve and not the back of her hand but really? A sleeve. Ew. Ew. and Ew. Top that off with a week (possibly two or three weeks) worth of rain. I can't even remember now when we had a day that wasn't wet.So, to get me through this week, I've been turning to my Google Reader for a little cheer. Look at what I found! An oh, so wonderful blog, So September. Just what I was looking for (well, not really - I have too many projects going to start dreaming about more). But when I need a new project, I think I want to try something just like this. Pretty cute, huh?
I've been following this fabulous blog, Rockstar Diaries just for the images. I'm mesmerized. The photographer has such a great eye for the things in her world. Her images are funny and creative and sweet.
We've been won over by maple syrup. Nothing else will do. Here's a recipe from the blog Nourished Kitchen that incorporates seasonal veggies and maple syrup. Yum. I love this blog because everything the writer makes is nourishing. Great recipes to raise a family on.
