I wanted to try some new techniques for my Little Bird Apparel etsy shop and am going by the advice of a friend (isn't she cool??). I needed to see if I could use my living room wall as a white background. Trying to get the pictures to stand out a little bit more.
So with a tiny piece of candy cane, I bribed Kaia into "modeling" for me. She absolutely hates to do this. But it is the ONLY time I allow her to have candy so she gets into the mood pretty quick - anything for a candy cane (or canny-cane as she calls it). On a side note, I haven't even considered the right or wrong-ness to allowing her candy only went I want something done... Maybe an important thing to think about?
And I think something has changed - either because she's a little bit older than the last time I tried this or because of the time she spends with her "older" friend Maya (she's FOUR). I don't think Maya realizes it but she is teaching Kaia how to be sassy.
Kaia ended up enjoying our camera time and even began to offer pose suggestions.
I guess anything is worth doing for a piece of canny-cane, huh?
